"Holiday Memories" Coming to RDT
On December 3-5, the Tourism Council of Bullock County presents "Holiday Memories", the stage adaptation of Truman Capote's two short stories about Thanksgiving and Christmas. Along with the heartwarming and nostalgic performances, guests can enjoy a sumptuous buffet reception. Overnight accommodations at nearby lodges with breakfast for 2 are available. "Holiday Memories" will be the final performance for the Red Door Theatre's "Always Alabama 2009" production season. As details become available for the 2010 season, we will keep you up to date on this website!
Red Door Theatre's "Always Alabama 2009"
The Red Door Theatre's 2009 season is being called "Always Alabama 2009" because all of the plays are either by Alabamians, about Alabamians, and/or set in Alabama. So far this year, both locals and visitors have enjoyed "The Moving of Lilla Barton", "Conecuh People", and "Hank Williams: Lost Highway", the spectacular musical biography of the legendary singer-songwriter. Coming up on December 3-5, we will see "Holiday Memories", the stage adaptation of Truman Capote's two short stories about Thanksgiving and Christmas.
